Hadi Hassanzada is the first refugee para taekwondo athlete to compete at an international competition under the flag of the Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation. With refugee athletes now able to participate in the Paralympics, and Para Taekwondo being on the program for this world class event’s next edition in Tokyo in 2020, the THF is set to support Hadi’s evolution in the sport. The medal design for the fifth edition of the European Para Taekwondo Championships has been revealed.The event will take place on September 16 in Poland's capital Warsaw, with the medals featuring two of the city's famous landmarks.Taking centre stage is the capital's Warsaw Bridge, as well as a depiction of Sigismund's Column.
